         Pre '63 GT

Pre ’63 GT is for iconic GT cars of the late Fifties and early Sixties

First announced in 2009 as a special one-off race for Pre ’63 GT cars at the event that was formerly known as Silverstone Classic, the popularity of the formula became immediately apparent, with entries from all over Europe and beyond.  Now a well-established series; managed by Motor Racing Legends; and where entry is approved and overseen by a selection committee within the Royal Automobile Club; the Series brings a definite touch of glamour to the race tracks.

All races typically run for one hour and are open to two-driver entries and, as part of the Series, the Royal Automobile Club presents their Historic Tourist Trophy to the winner of the Pre ’63 GT race at the Silverstone Festival each year.

We are thrilled that the Pre ’63 GT Series will return to the track in 2024 with races at Donington Historic Festival, Snetterton Classic, Silverstone Festival (Historic Tourist Trophy) and MRL Silverstone GP Meeting in October.
